Career day

There was a career day at my school like a month ago and it was very interesting their were so many different careers. All of the people that came and talked about their career also told how they got their and some of their struggles. Like one of the people was an attorney which is a lawyer, she actually went to law school for 7 years and it was actually worth it. She also is a mediator which is a person that sit and let the people that are having problems talk it out and she also gets them to a certain point so they can both leave happy, the progress that she does with in being a mediator is mediation. Mediation is a dispute resolution its like when having a problem they would put you in a room together and talk it out. She also said that a PTI is when you're a first time offender you would get like community service or probably be on house arrest but it depends on what you have done. With in being an attorney is getting all the information you need to win the case you would have to know the person background and evidence that would help win the case. There were two other careers for career day which was commercial banker and owning your own tax business. A commercial banker helps companies start a business or expand, to buy buildings and other businesses. The person also talked about caladoral which is when you borrow money and you give the bank something thats worth the same amount but if you don't pay them back they can keep what you gave them and take what you use the money for. Banks actually get money by fees such as an ATM machine or bank accounts. The tax business is very different from the other careers it is owned by a man name Mr. Hanigle he started his business in 1992, he had his business for twenty years. In Mr. Hanigle business they us things such as in mutual funds and welten funds. A mutual fund is when one does bad in a business but the rest does good. A welten fund is a fund that deals with beverages such as sprite and many more.

I think that being an attorney is awesome you get to argue out your case and get information. You are actually resolving the problem that is going on and that is really great. A commercial banker is a big deal because without it you sure wouldn't be getting the money you got now or even cash a check maybe. A tax business owner is a hard thing because not a lot of people can own their own business and do a good job. Not a lot of people can do taxes some think its easy or some think it's hard. If you don't know how to do your own taxes or no one knows how to do it or theirs no tax business how are you going to get you taxes done you are going to want your money.

Afghan girls, scarred by acid, defy terror, embracing school

One of the biggest stories on New York Times is when young women are getting sprayed with acid in their faces by men on motorcycles. Some young ladies can't see as well and some actually need surgery to remove their scares. This is mainly happening to the girls who go to Mirwais school for girls. One day the men on motorcycles were actually circling the school spraying 11 girls and even 4 teacher but 6 went to the hospital. Students are d to death to come to school. According to sources this is happening from a  movement called the Taliban, that is trying to banned girls from school. Mr. Qadari the principle of Mirwais School for Girls called a meeting and told the parents to bring their daughters back to school and their no reason to hold their daughters back. After a few week later a couple of students returned. More students kept returning and they wound up have full class rooms.

I think they should find the people thats apart of the Taliban and lock them up or even kill them in that matter because what they are doing is wrong. It's also good that the principle is involve in helping the students and trying to do what ever it takes to help them. The girls should just stay in school no matter what happens. Im also surprised that so many girls came back to school after what happen, I think that is actually brave.

nerves were struck after bomb threats at the University of Pittsburgh

This week there have been talk about a couple bomb threats happening at the University of Pittsburgh. According to New York times the bomb threats happen in february. They said that it was an explosive dives in the girls bathroom , warnings and threats on the wall. There so many bomb threats students are scared for their lives. Students even want to move off campus, their class are being disturbed by these corruption and it is near the end of the semester. Police haven't found a bomb yet so have been showing up on campus and watching. They don't really have any suspects yet.

I think that who ever did it is probably a student and if not teachers should be checking to see if there's students that they never seen and don't belong. I think they should check all dorms because this should keep happening. If the police haven't been finding nothing but it was an explosive device in the girls bathroom something is seriously wrong. Maybe It's a girl thats doing it but it has to be a reason. If it was me living on that campus I would move  would fill like I'm in danger. Its like they shouldn't really go to school because your going there and when there could be a bomb in the building about to explode, so your really putting your self in danger.

Wall street slides on job report

At the start of trading on Monday stocks on Wall street had at least dropped 1 percent. Prices also rise when traders were given better investments. 12 percent was gained in the beginning of 2012. Sources say,"The United States economy created only 120,000 net jobs in March, about half the number that analysts had expected and about half what had been added in each of the previous two months."The beginning of 2012 was their best being in a new year in 14 years. The employment rate has gone down to 8.2 percent in March then went to 8.3 percent in February. Companies have reporting their financial performance of this week. Since the employment report was made Asian stocks were the first markets to trade. Statistics shows lower activity, however the recovery of the economy have been on and off.

In my opinion they should get other peoples opinion on the street and see what they think they can do better to level up and also make more money so more people can get employed. Also if they know they are doing something wrong then change it because some people that don't have jobs wound up not being able to pay bills to living on the street. Some of these net jobs are good but is it really good enough is it really going to make a difference.

Man kills teen but haven't been arrested

One of the biggest stories of this week is when 17 year old Trayvon Martin was shot to death by a man the name of George Zimmerman but he has not been arrested. Sources say that Martin was walking home and Zimmerman was following him and told the police that he look suspicious, and the wound up getting in a fight and that's when Zimmerman shot him. Zimmerman stated in court that Martin attack him first he said that it was just self defense. Trayvon's parents Tracy Martin and Sybrina Fulton is devistated by this matter and want Zimmerman arrested now. People have been protesting about this and wants him arrested they scared about their safety.

I think he should be arrest for what he have done because why would he even pull out the gun in the first place it's not like Trayvon had a weapon on him. Then he killed him so thats murder and he called the police saying that he looks suspicious so he could of been harassing him first at that moment and of course if he see a man following him he's going to have a bad reaction. I think they should keep protesting until Zimmerman is in jail.

Please stop Joseph kony

A story that has changed a lot of people and have been talked about for the past years is Joseph Kony and what he have done. Sources say that he was taking children from their parents and homes in Uganda. Boys were forced to kill other people, even their parents and girls were forced to become sex slaves. Kony is actually trying to build a army of children. He also has a group that he calls the L.R.A which stands for Lord's Resistance Army. He killed thousands of people over the past years. President Obama has order 100 armed military advisers to go to Central Africa to help bring down kony's group. A lot of people that heard the story want to help or some even saved a few.

This is out of control whats the point of him doing it it's really no point to it what have these people done to him that he had to do all this, when they are as innocent as they could be. I'm actually happy that people are trying to help and telling other people because they really need to stop Kony from what he's doing, and Obama needs to get the armed military advisers as quick as he can to stop this madness. What he's making these children do is crazy and I can't wait until he's stopped.

In china human costs are built into the ipad

One of the biggest stories from the past month is when an explosion have occurred in a china apple factory. The explosion went thought building A5. Two workers were killed and some were injured. Officials say,"that a certain man had stand out of all of them his features on his face got damage by the blast." Workers said that the blast came from a room where ipad cases get polished at they notice it when they heard a loud noise and  seen black smoke coming out the windows. People was also devastated by this horrible situation. The same thing happen a year ago but it was two explosions 4 people were kill and 77 was injured. Also two years ago 137 workers at an apple supplier in eastern china was injured after they use a poisonous chemical to clean iphone screens but they was also told to use it. A chair man at the national advisory committee said,"If apple was warned and didn't react on it, that's reprehensible."


To me if this happen and I worked there I wouldn't go back to work because I wouldn't want to risk my life to get paid when i can work some where else and I also think that it's true what the chairman said because if this thing happen before you should be aware of all things and get rid of things that can be hazardous. They should also try to figure out what cause this to happen that way they can try to avoid it from happening again. I think the people that got injured has the right to sue the company for them getting hurt the way they did.
